The platform provides interested parties with a system of skills and facilities dedicated to the application of imaging techniques, structural analysis and chemical characterisation to initiate atomic and molecular analysis, measurements and experiments on materials, surface studies, and quantitative information on the chemical composition of materials, with extremely wide fields of application, ranging from nanotechnology and development of nano-structured materials, to failure analysis and process control in industrial activities.
