The aim is to trigger a process of economic and social growth.
The basic principles of the model aim to:

• Become a pole of attraction for innovative start-ups at national and international level;
• Create and support innovative start-ups with strong qualifications and technological specialisation in order to integrate them into existing supply chains and clusters, with particular focus on digital transformation (Industry 4.0) and technological platforms linked to the technological platforms of AREA Science Park (new materials, structural biology and genomics);
• Advance the results of scientific research in the area through the creation of new spin-offs from research institutions (e.g. universities);
• Take advantage of the skills of human resources present in the territory;
• Contribute to rebuilding and developing the entrepreneurial fabric through business models based on technological, digital and strategic innovation.
